Katy Bourne was elected Police & Crime Commissioner on 15th November with 32% of the first preference votes on less than 16% of the turnout. It is vital that all of us continue to follow the progress of this new role and are willing to offer advice and challenge when appropriate. As Katy made clear during the campaign, she sees the next election the point when she will be held to account for her actions. May 2016 is a long way off.
